Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Material Handler responsible for using ERP systems to track inventory levels, conducting daily cycle counts of raw materials, managing the warehouse, and tracking raw materials. The role involves replacing large drums of raw materials, properly attaching pump/valves, reading and scanning materials from the warehouse, and using a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility. Additionally, you will be responsible for filling small bottles of raw materials by hand, adhering to GMP and SOP protocols.

Responsibilities

Track inventory levels using ERP systems.

Conduct daily cycle counts of raw materials.

Manage the warehouse and track raw materials.

Replace large drums of raw materials and attach pump/valves properly.

Read and scan raw materials from the warehouse.

Use a forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse.

Fill small bottles of raw materials by hand.

Adhere to GMP and SOP knowledge for inventory control.Essential Skills

Experience with material handling and inventory control.

Proficiency with RF scanners and forklift operation.

Knowledge of GMP and SOP protocols.

Ability to use ERP systems effectively.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to use computers and collaborate with other departments.

General labor and production line experience.

Work Environment

The work environment requires lifting up to 50 lbs, and employees must wear steel toe boots and long sleeves. Safety glasses are provided, and masks may be worn if desired. The role is on the first shift from 6am to 2:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Weekend shifts may be needed. Please note, individuals with asthma may not be suited for this position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
