LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to hire detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist for a contract role in Sacramento. In this role, you will manage billing processes, ensure accurate invoicing, and maintain up-to-date records for our clients. Your contribution will be vital in supporting our financial operations and ensuring timely payments.
PLEASE NOTE: All duties for this role are performed at the client’s headquarters in Sacramento, California.
Key Responsibilities
•Invoice Management: Prepare and process accurate invoices for clients, ensuring all services and products are billed correctly.
•Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts receivable, following up on outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies.
•Payment Processing: Apply payments to client accounts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
•Reporting: Generate and maintain billing reports, providing insights into accounts receivable status and aging.
•Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries, providing clear and timely responses.
•Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless billing processes and resolve any issues that arise.
•System Management: Utilize billing software and ERP systems to manage billing data and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
•Experience: Minimum of 2 years in billing, accounts receivable, or related financial roles.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Sage, Maximo, or Ariba is a plus.
•Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all billing activities.
•Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
•Education: High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
•Experience in the manufacturing industry.
•Familiarity with e-billing platforms and legal billing software.
•Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
