Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in assembling high-quality machines for the printing industry. This position involves mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, and measuring devices, while interpreting blueprints for precise assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

Utilize measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

Interpret and follow blueprints for assembly tasks.

Conduct bench assembly for shafts, tooling, and consumables.

Assemble components such as rotary punches, slitters, and core shafts.

Operate an overhead crane to move core components safely.Essential Skills

Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical assembly or technician roles.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring devices.

Experience with hand and power tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hobart, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
