Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will read and interpret work orders, follow sample assemblies, and pull parts for shop floor orders to assemble parts or units according to work instructions. You will also receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed, ensuring the precise positioning and alignment of parts in specified relationships to each other using fixtures or other holding devices.
Responsibilities
Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, solder, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
Mount assembled components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or route and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Assemble and attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies.
Perform intermediate assembly tasks as required.
Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.Essential Skills
1+ years of Mechanical Assembly experience
1+ years of Manufacturing experience
Experience with hand and power tools
Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing soldering
Knowledge of mechanical assembly, electronics, electrical assembly, soldering, electrical wiring, circuit board and harness assembly, and crimpingAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift 50lbs

Work Environment
Work in a clean environment at a steady pace. The dress code requires long pants such as jeans or khakis. The first shift for Electro-Mechanical Assemblers runs from 7am to 3:30pm with two openings for BESS production line assembly and one for CBL electro-mechanical.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
