Job Description
Job Title: Quality Inspector
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing various inspections on machined parts and assemblies. These inspections will include first piece inspections, in-process inspections, receiving inspections, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process. You will use tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and a CMM. You should be able to interpret blueprints and use them to determine if the product is compliant. You will follow established work instructions and quality management systems to ensure all documentation is properly recorded and saved as required. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are needed to work with other departments to meet quality requirements. Experience in manufacturing may be substituted for years with quality experience, and the right candidate can be trained.
Responsibilities
Perform first piece, in-process, receiving, and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies.
Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and a CMM.
Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine product compliance.
Follow established work instructions and quality management systems.
Ensure proper recording and saving of documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to meet quality requirements.Essential Skills
Experience in inspection and quality control.
Proficiency with micrometers and calipers.
Ability to use a CMM and experience with PC-DMIS software is a plus.
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
