Job Roles & Responsibilities: -
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for clients.
Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
Manage AP( Accounts Payable) and AR(Accounts Receivable)functions for clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
Reconcile client accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and file accurate income tax returns for clients.
Manage the preparation and filing of GST returns in compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
Stay updated on changes to tax regulations and advise clients on compliance matters.
Knowledge on Corporate Secretarial Work where need to assist with the preparation of corporate secretarial documents (e.g., resolutions, annual returns).
Ensure that clients comply with statutory requirements, including filing with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
Maintain and update client records, including company registers, minutes, and other documents.
Ad hoc Support: Provide administrative and compliance support to clients and internal teams.
Assist with various company matters as required, including liaising with regulators, auditors, and other external parties.
Offer advice and support on company structuring, compliance, and financial matters.
Job Requirements & Skills: -
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
Certifications: ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years in accounting, tax compliance, and corporate secretarial work.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Singapore tax laws, GST filing, and corporate secretarial practices.
Software Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
Independence: Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
