Duration: 18-month contract

Hourly Rate: $64 USD/hour

About the Role:

Swoon is partnering with a top-tier client in the financial services industry to hire a Compliance & Risk Analyst for a long-term contract engagement. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in financial compliance, internal controls, and risk mitigation within large, regulated environments.

You’ll be part of the Compliance Team, supporting business units on regulatory documentation, control processes, and audit readiness. The position is 100% remote, offering flexibility while contributing to impactful work in a well-established and evolving compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day business compliance and operational risk/control tasks.

Ensure all procedures and documentation comply with financial regulatory standards.

Proactively identify, assess, and report client-impacting risks.

Support internal audits and maintain documentation for regulatory readiness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to revise and update policies and procedures.

Assist in developing or enhancing risk mitigation infrastructure and establishing effective controls.

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of experience in financial compliance and risk management (non-negotiable).

Strong understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and documentation standards.

Experience working in or with financial institutions or regulated financial environments.

Familiarity with audit support – understanding audit principles and documentation requirements.

Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Experience working on compliance initiatives tied to regulatory or internal audits.

Additional Information:

Hourly Rate: $64 USD/hour (W2)

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours

Interview Process: One round with the Hiring Manager
