SAP Material Master Data Owner & SAP Support Specialist

Purpose of the Job:

As a SAP Material Master Data Owner & SAP Support Specialist you will be supporting and advising our new production facility in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. You will be the ‘owner’ of our supply chain/ production master data and will be responsible for the processing, quality and consistency of master data within SAP ERP system, including material and vendor data.

In this role you will also be our first line of SAP support in our US production environment, and will be supported by a second line Support team/ Forbo SAP Competence Centre (FCCS). Day to day occurring SAP issues and SAP requests will be solved by you and you will be trained / equipped for this responsibility by the FSCC.

You will be working closely with your business colleagues in the production and supply chain areas. Next to that you will have frequent alignment with the FCCS to guide and support you in your role.

Key focus areas in your roles are:

Master Data Owner activities:

Maintain and update master data in SAP ERP systems, including material and vendor data.

Set-up and maintain of Bill of Material

Set-up and maintain Recipes

Set-up and main Purchasing Info records

Mass changes for master data

SAP Support activities:

Day to day processing of 1st line SAP issues and requests

Maintain output and (purchasing) pricing conditions

Provide training and support to users on data management processes

Create and change data queries

Maintain and process SAP user access

Ideal qualifications for this role are:

SAP/ Master data experience:

Good user knowledge of SAP in Supply Chain modules (e.g. MM/WM/PPPI)

Working with SAP systems in a production/ supply chain environment for at least 3 years

Experience with Master data processing and reporting

Familiar with (SAP) support processes

Preferable knowledge about Batch managed/ configurable materials

Technical/ Communication skills:

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Well experienced with Excel and familiar with data model concepts

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively with (cross functional) business users and stakeholders

Good presentation and training skills.
