The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Consultant to join our team in a fractional CFO capacity. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to clients, helping unlock value, create long-term financial clarity, and empower leadership teams with actionable insights. This is more than a numbers role—it’s about influence, systems thinking, and leading from the front.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with CEOs/Founders to align financial strategy with business goals

Build and refine budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning models

Guide capital strategy, cash management, and debt/funding scenarios

Lead financial statement analysis and GAAP reporting improvements

Present insights to boards, investors, and senior leadership

Mentor internal finance teams and build controller-level capacity

Identify and implement financial systems/process improvements

Collaborate with COOs and HR to connect finance with operations and people

Help navigate inflection points such as M&A, exits, or scale-up transitions

Define KPIs and set up reporting frameworks that drive decision-making

Lead financial scenario planning to inform strategic pivots

Provide guidance during audits, compliance reviews, and lender interactions

Coach leaders on financial acumen and accountability

Step in as acting CFO during key transitions or restructuring periods

What You Bring:

Former CFO or senior finance executive experience in $20M+ organizations

Consulting or fractional leadership experience preferred

Strong communication and boardroom presence

Proven ability to simplify complexity and create focus

Hands-on experience with financial modeling, capital planning, and GAAP reporting

Collaborative mindset with a knack for mentoring, coaching, and building teams

Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-paced growth environments

High EQ, strategic thinking, and a drive to make others better
