Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant to support the Director of Finance and Administration. Responsibilities May Include:
Payroll & HR Administration
Accurately process weekly payroll and maintain payroll records
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws
Manage employee records and ensure accurate timekeeping
Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and employee file maintenance
Support HR policy implementation and compliance tracking
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR matters
Finance & Accounting
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries
Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures
Maintain and organize financial documentation and records
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or payroll/HR support role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll regulations
Proficient in Excel and Quickbooks Online
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
