Asset Management Analyst

Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst – Asset Management will provide comprehensive support to the Asset Managers overseeing both Multifamily and Commercial portfolios. This role involves evaluating market dynamics, performing in-depth research, and formulating investment approaches aligned with the strategic objectives of each asset’s business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to optimizing asset performance and Net Operating Income (NOI) by analyzing competitive positioning, identifying asset-specific challenges, and executing tailored value-add strategies.

Collaborate with teams across Operations, Finance, Construction, Investor Relations, and third-party Property Management to track and report monthly financial results against established budgets and strategic plans.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of local market conditions, including competitive landscapes, development pipelines, and economic demand factors.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal sustainability policies across all managed assets.

Evaluate and track capital improvement plans and associated expenditures, acting as a liaison between Asset Management and external vendors.

Join Investment Directors for on-site property visits to better understand asset-level goals and operational challenges.

Assist with reporting obligations to lenders and investors, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Develop and manage advanced financial models for portfolio oversight, including scenario analysis for hold/sell/refinance decisions.

Perform quarterly financial reforecasts and make recommendations regarding distributions, reserves, and cash flow management.

Support asset and fund-level valuation processes on a quarterly and annual basis.

Aid in managing refinance and disposition workflows, coordinating due diligence efforts, meeting critical deadlines, and facilitating successful transaction outcomes.
