Our client in the Technology industry is seeking an experienced Financial Business Analyst to join their growing team. In this position, you'll play a central role in shaping data-backed financial strategies. Positioned at the intersection of multiple business functions, you'll interpret complex datasets related to products and supply chain logistics to generate insights that inform critical business decisions.
Requirements
Collaborate closely with business unit leaders to evaluate monthly performance outcomes, long-term business strategies, and product direction.
Leverage data analytics to monitor inventory health and highlight potential growth or efficiency opportunities.
Deliver financial reporting and analysis at the component level, developing key metrics to enhance profitability and/or competitiveness.
Partner with cross-functional teams in operations, finance, and product management to measure and interpret business performance.
Design and maintain dashboards and performance trackers using platforms like Power BI to support real-time decision-making.
Monitor and compare actual sales results (monthly and year-to-date) against targets and forecasts.
Prepare detailed margin and cost breakdowns for leadership, including customer-specific profitability evaluations.
Provide strategic insights on supplier competitiveness, partner performance, and customer trends to inform executive-level decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related
MBA preferred
2+ years of Finance experience (financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting)
Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
Exposure to ERP platforms and/or CRM tools like Salesforce preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; familiarity with Power BI and automation tools like Power Automate
Strong analytical skills
Some travel may be required
MBA, CPA or CMA preferred
