Pay Range: $43.00/hour to $45.00/hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description
The Workday Payroll/Payroll Tax Partner is responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing and assisting with all aspects of North America in-house payroll tax compliance (federal, state, and local tax) and ensuring enforcement of corporate payroll policies. In addition, this role will provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers and oversee the relationship and spend with external consultants that assist in payroll processing and payroll tax related matters.
Responsibilities:
• Support and process payroll for multiple legal entities across multiple states and provinces with various pay schedules in the US and Canada.
• Validate and ensure accuracy of data in Workday such as changes, hours, earnings and calculate retroactive adjustments.
• Ensure imported payroll data is audited using various reports prior to sending for approval within established timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate updating of payroll records for relocation, stock, personal usage of company auto and other gross ups as necessary • Review and reconcile all daily tax and wage amounts submitted to OSV/ADP; research discrepancies and handle accordingly • Reconcile gross wages, taxable wages, and tax amounts for multiple legal entities monthly, quarterly, and annually between Workday payroll and OSV/ADP.
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all tax filings, amendments and reporting including W-2s and W-2c’s.
• Partner with payroll processing team and OSV / ADP for accurate and timely set-up, calculation, reporting and payment of payroll taxes • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll processing and payroll tax-related issues.
• Collaborate with team to develop and implement strong internal controls related to payroll processing, payroll tax and compliance.
• Assist with process documentation and standard operating procedures are maintained and current at all times.
• Provide various reports and data for internal and external audits as required.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelors (preferred) from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive US payroll-related experience, including large company experience, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in using Workday payroll software.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to payroll and taxes.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Experience with Canadian payroll and Expatriates a plus.
