M&A Manager - Energy & Telecom Infrastructure - Pittsburgh, USA

About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and strategic M&A Manager to support our growth agenda through targeted acquisitions in the energy and telecom infrastructure construction sectors across the United States. Based on the East Coast, this role will play a key part in identifying, evaluating, and executing potential M&A opportunities, with a strong focus on financial diligence and market fit.

You will join a fast-moving team shaping the future of infrastructure — enabling the energy transition and digital connectivity across the U.S. and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the definition of the company’s overall strategy for the USA and, specifically, identify the priority areas for M&A growth.

Lead initial screening, assessment, and qualification of potential acquisition targets.

Support deal origination by developing target lists and outreach strategies.

Conduct financial analysis and due diligence (quality of earnings, working capital, debt, etc.).

Build and review valuation models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, technical) and external advisors.

Support deal execution including data room management, SPA review, and closing processes.

Contribute to integration planning and business case tracking post-acquisition.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitive M&A activity in the energy and telecom infrastructure space.

What We’re Looking For:

5–10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, or transaction services.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering (MBA or CFA preferred).

Experience with financial due diligence and business case validation.

Prior work in a top-tier advisory or investment firm (Big 4, boutique, IB) is a strong plus.

Strong modeling, analytical, and presentation skills.

Ability to understand market dynamics and develop long-term strategic thinking.

Knowledge of the energy or telecom infrastructure markets in US.

Strong communication skills and ability to engage with executive leadership.

Results driven and a team player.

Located in Pittsburgh, with willingness to travel (20–30%).
