With a reputation for handling some of the most complex and high-stakes engagements in the industry, the firm partners with distressed companies, creditors, and stakeholders to deliver strategic, operational, and financial solutions that preserve value and drive recovery.

Position Summary:

The firm is seeking a seasoned Vice President to join its New York-based Restructuring Advisory team. This individual will play a critical role in leading client engagements, managing workstreams, and mentoring junior professionals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in bankruptcy processes, out-of-court restructurings, and distressed M&A, with a strong understanding of both debtor and creditor-side dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex restructuring and turnaround engagements, including in- and out-of-court processes.

Develop and execute strategic alternatives for distressed clients, including recapitalizations, asset sales, and reorganizations.

Conduct financial and operational analyses, including liquidity forecasting, business plan assessments, and valuation work.

Prepare and present client deliverables, including board materials, restructuring proposals, and court filings.

Interface with clients, legal advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the restructuring process.

Mentor and supervise analysts and associates, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround advisory, bankruptcy consulting, or related fields.

Strong understanding of Chapter 11, distressed M&A, and creditor negotiations.

Experience working at a top-tier restructuring advisory firm, investment bank, or Big 4 advisory practice.

Exceptional analytical, modeling, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and lead client interactions.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.

Expected Compensation:

Base Salary: $200k

Discretionary Bonus: 50% - 100%
