Financial Analyst – Revenue

Our large distribution client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for their location in Northeast Philadelphia. In office; local candidates only.

The Financial Analyst is a newly created role that will focus primarily on revenue, sales, and pricing analysis. Ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, comfortable working with large datasets and query tools.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst

Performing revenue and variance analysis

Performing detailed analysis on sales volume, pricing, product margins, and COGS

Working closely with the sales and product teams to provide detailed analysis, reporting, and business recommendations

Analyzing rebate and volume pricing opportunities

Assisting with data and reporting enhancements related to CRM and sales management tools

Ad hoc sales support projects and analysis

Performing budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis

Requirements of the Financial Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

3+ years related financial analysis experience

Strong technical background, with advanced PowerBI/PowerQuery and Excel proficiency

Experience working with large datasets

Experience with financial analysis, budgets, and basic accounting principles

Prior experience with revenue, pricing, rebates, or sales analysis preferred

Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team-oriented environment

Additional Information:

Compensation: To $90k

Employment type: direct hire

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
