MDM System Management

Configure maintain and troubleshoot the MDM system ensuring its proper functioning and performance

Data Modeling and Business Rules

Work with data models and business rules to define how data is structured and managed within the MDM platform

Data Integration

Manage data integration processes between the MDM system and other enterprise applications

User Management

Create manage and maintain user accounts and permissions within the MDM system

Data Quality and Governance

Support data quality initiatives including data cleansing validation and monitoring

Workflow Management

Configure and manage workflows within the MDM system to automate data management processes

Training and Support

Provide training and support to users on how to use the MDM system and its functionalities

Liaison with Stakeholders

Collaborate with business users IT staff and other stakeholders to ensure the MDM system meets business needs and data requirements

Problem Solving

Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to technical problems related to the MDM system

Documentation

Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation for the MDM system and its processes

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of MDM concepts data modeling and database management

System Administration

Experience with administering MDM platforms and related technologies

Data Management

Knowledge of data quality principles data governance policies and data standards

Communication

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with business users and technical teams

ProblemSolving

Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions to technical problems

Software Proficiency

Experience with MDM software platforms eg SAP MDG Oracle MDM Informatica MDM

Master Data Management MDM

A broader term encompassing the management of key business data such as customer product and location data

Mobile Device Management MDM

A specific type of MDM focused on managing mobile devices within an organization including their configuration security and lifecycle
