Senior Finance Analyst (Contract – Hybrid in Denver)

Denver, CO (Hybrid) 3–6 Month Contract $90K–$120K (DOE)

We’re working with a pioneering organization at the cutting edge of national security and space technology, supporting their search for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Corporate FP&A function on a contract basis. This is a high-impact role contributing to financial decision-making at the highest level, with the opportunity to drive meaningful insights and support mission-critical work.

As part of a dynamic finance team, you'll be responsible for everything from forecasting and variance analysis to executive-level reporting and strategic financial modeling. You’ll be helping to shape processes and improve how the business operates financially.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities

Drive actionable insights through trend analysis and KPI reporting

Deliver executive-ready presentations and reporting packs

Support strategic projects across multiple business units

Build and optimize financial models and process automations

What we’re looking for:

3+ years’ experience in corporate FP&A or finance roles

Strong grasp of financial statements (including cash flow)

Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills (Microsoft 365 environment)

ERP experience (NetSuite highly preferred)

Familiarity with tools like Power BI, SQL, VBA, or Python for automation

U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status due to export compliance

Bonus if you’ve worked in defense, space, or national security environments before — but not essential.
