About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Workday Financials Architect to serve as a strategic and technical advisor on the ongoing development and optimization of their Workday ecosystem. Implemented in 2021 (FINs), the platform supports a forward-thinking finance team eager to scale and refine operations. You’ll collaborate across Finance, Accounting, and Tech teams, playing a key role in configuration, integration, and long-term system design.
Core Responsibilities:
Architect and optimize Workday FINs with a strategic, scalable lens
Partner with internal stakeholders and external consultants on system design and enhancements
Drive implementation efforts and ensure seamless integrations
Provide subject matter expertise in FDM, Assets, and Banking modules
Support change management and system adoption across teams
Ideal Candidate Profile:
5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience
Deep accounting knowledge; CPA a strong plus
Proven success in FINs architecture, customization, and rollouts
Comfortable with hybrid/remote models and monthly travel
Collaborative, low-ego, and communicative team player
Experience transitioning from ADP to Workday is advantageous
Location: Hybrid (Baltimore, MD preferred) – Open to remote within the US with monthly on-site travel - 1 Week per month (fully expensed)
Compensation: $150,000–$170,000 (up to $180,000 DOE)
