Position Overview
As part of our Investor Relations Team, the Equity Plan Specialist will work in a team-oriented, and fast-paced environment, supporting the day-to-day administration and reconciliation of the Company’s Employee Stock Purchase Program and Equity-based Compensation. You will play a pivotal role in building and designing data-based dashboards and reports, creating visuals to share with C-Suite executives. You will also seek opportunities to streamline processes, have excellent organizational skills, and showcase effective communication with various stakeholders.

Location
This is a hybrid role, based out of GISI’s Newport Beach, California office
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day administration of equity compensation plans, including restricted stock units (RSUs) and other equity-based awards.
Coordinate equity transactions, including grants, exercises, vesting, cancellations, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to plan rules and legal requirements.
Execute efficiently on data transfer and communicate effectively with all HR, Payroll, Legal, and Finance departments – both at GISI, division and Operating Company levels
Communicate with external partners such as stock plan recordkeeper and transfer agent and coordinate routine and exception processing
Reconcile with transfer agent (Computershare) to ensure all equity plan transactions are correctly recorded in a timely manner
Assist with global equity reporting and regulatory compliance, working with GISI finance, tax and legal team/specialists
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools preferred
Proven experience building data models preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a cross-functional environment.
Excellent customer service orientation, with a track record of delivering accurate results.
Assist with annual financial audits and compliance requests
Qualifications
Experience with equity administration software, preferably Shareworks, strongly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Pivot tables and reporting, v-lookup, index match, macros and VBA)
Proficiency with conventional data management tools and analytics software such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience with Computershare or other transfer agent specialized in employee stock purchase plans is a plus
Experience with shareholder or equity administration systems or tools (third party or internal)
Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees and stakeholders across different regions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience as a compensation analyst or stock administration experience at global company is preferred
Experience in employee-owned organization preferred
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred
Compensation
Base Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 DOE
Eligible for discretionary annual cash bonus and participation in equity program
