System Administrator

The contractor should be proficient in System Admin Duties and have direct experience with the following technologies.

Required Skills

Perform one-off deployments to IIS and related systems.

Perform daily monitoring to verify the availability and integrity of hardware, server resources, and system processors.

Perform and verify daily backups were executed accurately, verify recovery media was created and properly cycled; execute file archival and purging as required.

Create, maintain, and delete user accounts as required.

Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.

Investigate issues and provide high-level support.

Install new or rebuild existing servers.

Develop and maintain installation, configuration procedures, and system standards.

Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage in accordance with standards, project, and operational requirements.

Install and configure systems that support organizational infrastructure and applications.

Apply operating system patches, upgrade tools and utilities, configure and add new services as required.

Configure, upgrade, and maintain system software and procedures that support applications and operational needs.

Perform periodic performance tuning and reporting to support capacity planning, hardware upgrades, resource optimization, and configure CPU, memory, and disk partitioning as required.

Desired Skills

Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, IIS.

Experience with IBM Content Manager and Captiva.

Experience with Accellion/Kiteworks.
