Ansible Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Automation Engineer Sr to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and scale enterprise automation initiatives across infrastructure and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of automation, influencing design, orchestration, and development while mentoring peers and driving innovation. Responsibilities:

Lead medium to large-scale automation initiatives from ideation through execution and reporting.

Develop and maintain automation solutions using tools like Ansible, Python, and Rundeck/AWX.

Guide and mentor infrastructure teams on automation best practices and development techniques.

Manage orchestration platform provisioning, monitoring, administration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Proficiency with Ansible and Python; experience with RESTful APIs and Git.

Demonstrated background in infrastructure engineering and automation solution design.

Familiarity with SDLC, version control best practices, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Experience with orchestration platforms (AWX, AAP) and container technologies (e.g., OpenShift, DevSpaces).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Experience with ADO, Visio, ServiceNow, and data analysis/reporting tools like Tableau.
