The Role
The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive finance support to various departments within the region. This position requires the role holder to become an invaluable partner to the Americas senior management team, offering hands-on expertise in all matters related to financial performance, planning, and analysis. The Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering insightful financial data and strategic recommendations that drive business decisions. By understanding key drivers and influencing positive change, the role holder will help the business achieve its financial objectives and enhance overall performance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, contribute to significant projects, and make a meaningful impact on the company's success.
What you will do:
Leading the monthly and rolling forecasting processes with current customers, utilizing the various planning tools as well as support the VP Finance with long-term business planning and budgeting for the region.
Work closely with our account manager team to make sure all variables impacting run-rate are reviewed on a timely basis.
Variance analysis across the P&L.
Responsible for entering and updating the full P&L forecast into Workday Adaptive – working with VP Finance and Commercial Finance Director
Leading on the production and delivery of in-depth financial analysis of business and financial trends to drive performance led discussions with business stakeholders.
Analyzing current product mix by customer and assessing profitability.
Manage inventory process as it relates to revenue. Taking input from commercial finance director on pipeline.
Gain deep understanding of the identity verification and fraud prevention market in our region, helping to identify underlying financial trends and support the business in crafting solutions to address customer needs
Creating and maintaining complex business cases and financial models.
Offering transparent strategic insight through analysis.
Influencing at a senior level on strategic direction and driving profitability.
Working in unison with our Finance Systems and Reporting Manager to constantly look at ways to enhance business intelligence, reporting, forecasting, and planning.
Review overheads and personnel costs to identify trends and assist in monthly forecast updates.
Skills we are looking for
Experience: Proficient experience in accounting, encompassing both public and private sectors.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Skills:
Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
High attention to detail.
Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Organization: Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 salary plus bonus
