Position Overview
The Financial Advisor sitting in Seattle, Washington serves as an integral part of the team. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, organized, enthusiastic, and has a self-starter. Its imperative that the person will support the vision, positive culture, and team spirit. They will focus on team and client success, client service, trade and project managing assignments. The Financial Advisor will need to have good time management skills and must be flexible in a fast paced and changing environment. This position also requires attention to detail, ability to work quickly and efficiently with given technology and the ability to multi-task. This is a full position that requires the team member to be in the office full-time.
Role & Responsibilities:
Build and maintain client relationships in partnership with the Senior Financial Advisors
Attend meetings held by the Senior Financial Advisors with clients; conduct solo meetings with clients as appropriate
Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented
Assist Senior Financial Advisors with data collection and input into financial planning software
Assist clients with implementation of recommended and agreed-upon strategies
Consolidate assets and drive revenue growth through proactive client engagement.
Understand client needs, investment objectives, and risk profiles to offer tailored solutions and investment strategies that meet their requirements.
Conduct client presentations and meetings that effectively communicate the value proposition of our investment strategies, financial planning programs, and our holistic wealth management services.
Schedule client reviews, manage account paperwork, and address miscellaneous service items as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio management, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding, effective communication, and alignment of client expectations.
Build review presentations and client proposals, leveraging market and investment product knowledge for systematic strategies.
Maintain client communication records in the relationship management platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Respond promptly and professionally to incoming emails, calls, and meeting requests from clients and prospects.
Preferred Skills
Experience & Education
A bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience is preferred
Ideally 2-5 years of experience in a financial services firm. Working knowledge of financial planning topics and strategies; basic understanding of industry rules and regulations is required
Experience working with various Custodian Platforms (Pershing, Fidelity, Schwab, etc.)
Experience with CRM, financial planning, and portfolio management software strongly preferred
Strong leadership experience demonstrated
Strong academic and professional background
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail, poised, organized, and keen sense of urgency
Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office products
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex issues
Series 65 license (required for role; pursuit to begin shortly after start date if not already held and is expected to be passed within three months)
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required
Proficiency in firm CRM preferred
Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, and ability to deal with confidential information on a daily basis
Ability to deal with stress in an ever-changing investment market and financial services
Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
