Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Management Analyst 4 to support a high-profile enterprise initiative focused on enhancing the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) program, which includes Customer Identification Program (CIP), CDD standards, and risk rating methodologies. This initiative is sponsored by senior leadership and spans Shared Services Operations, Financial Crimes Operations, Financial Crimes Risk Management, and Front Office Business Groups.
Job Responsibilities
Consult on complex, multi-faceted Data Management challenges involving data governance, compliance, and analytics.
Evaluate and improve data-related processes in large-scale, enterprise-level projects.
Analyze and support diverse datasets across business lines, ensuring alignment with policy, risk, and regulatory frameworks.
Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, business units, and senior stakeholders to deliver results.
Contribute to strategic data initiatives involving metadata, data quality, and source system alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or equivalent (training, military, consulting, education).
Experience wrangling data, including:
Understanding authorized data sources, data elements, and field mapping
Writing SQL code for data extraction
Managing Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Dictionaries (Nice to have)
Experience supporting both technical and business teams
Working knowledge of multiple data types and data streams
Mid to complex SQL querying, including stored procedures and working across various environments (Oracle, Teradata, Hive, etc.)
Power BI or Tableau experience
SAS knowledge is a plus
Strong data analytics skills and interpretation abilities
Proven success in multi-LOB support roles
Experience within a major financial institution is required
