Senior FP&A Analyst
Position Summary
Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for delivering critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis processes, while also providing actionable recommendations to drive business performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning.
Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, including those for leadership meetings, board reviews, and ad hoc decision support.
Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Monitor key performance indicators and partner with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
Enhance reporting tools and processes to improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial insights.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and narratives aligned with overall business objectives.
Collaborate across departments to gather information and ensure alignment with financial goals.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; able to synthesize data into business insights.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial systems and business intelligence tools is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple initiatives.
Strategic thinker who can connect financial analysis to broader business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or a related finance role.
Experience in a dynamic, growth-focused environment is preferred.
Ability to work on-site as required by the organization.
