Job Description
A global supplier of manufacturing machinery is searching for a Site Installation Coordinator to support their construction projects around the U.S. The ideal candidate has a technical background in field service with material handling and industrial automation, as well as proven experience in a supervisory or project management role. Candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S, and working sites may be in domestic or international locations.
This role requires extended periods of travel for on-site project work at domestic and international sites, including on weekends and holidays (around 90%). Three days off-site are granted for every two weeks on, dependent on specific project needs. Company will provide a per diem for overnight stays, cover the cost of lodging and a rental car, and will pay for any overtime with an additional increase for work at night. This is a full-time and direct hire role, including paid holidays from day 1 of employment, 401k matching (up to 4%), company profit-sharing after one year of employment, PTO, and medical/vision/dental/life insurances. Compensation ranges from $32 - 35 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Oversee installation of industrial material handling equipment at customer sites, including monitoring project schedule and budget, mitigating on-site issues, overseeing contractors, and ensuring safety procedures are in place and followed
Manage project documentation, including administrative forms, training instruction, and task scheduling
Act as an on-site "point person" representing the company, communicating between on-site teams, subcontractors, company headquarters, and customer leadership
Work alongside other teams to document and report quality or design issues, missing parts, or material needs
Other duties as necessary to support project success
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of field service installation or industrial construction experience
Ability to read blueprints / schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with material handling equipment (including conveyors, stackers, palletizers, and/or robotics), with the ability to use tools and rigging for lifting equipment
Strong organization and communication skills
Ability to use Microsoft Suite products, Adobe products, and AutoCAD
Familiarity with OSHA standards and application
This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
