Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Department: Manufacturing – Sheet Metal

Reports To: Sheet Metal Supervisor

Position Summary

Operate Amada CNC press brakes to bend and form sheet metal parts. Support production by assembling components, preparing shipments, and assisting with related machinery while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brakes (Amada or similar) based on material specs and job requirements

Select tooling, load programs, and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance

Apply knowledge of bend deductions, material types, and thicknesses

Operate additional equipment including spot welders and assist with laser operations

Assemble and kit parts per production instructions

Load/unload materials; operate cranes and forklifts as needed

Maintain clean, organized workspace and follow all safety, quality, and ISO/OSHA protocols

Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

2+ years of experience with CNC press brakes (Amada, Trumpf, or similar)

Proficient in measuring tools and conversions (fractions/decimals)

Ability to read blueprints and distinguish metal types

Reliable, safety-conscious, and adaptable to shift work, overtime, and weekends

High School Diploma or GED (technical/vocational training preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift

Evening shift

Monday to Friday

Morning shift
