Job Description
This is a part time, seasonal role offering about 15-20 hours a week from June through December. This position requires both Saturday and Sunday shifts as well as holidays.
We are seeking individuals with kitchen and serving experience to become an integral part of our expanding team! Our business consists of our established tasting room where customers enjoy our wines as well as a newly added food trailer where we serve food to our customers on-site. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly and outgoing personality to serve both food and wine to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Serve and explain our wines and drinks to our guests
Take orders and serve food from our food truck
Light cooking on the food truck
Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with food prepping
Assist the Tasting Room Manager with tasting room responsibilities as needed
Explain to guests about menu items
Enter and close out orders through our point-of-sale system
Perform opening and closing duties of the tasting room or food truck
Set-up, break-down and clean up after private events
Greet and make all guests feel welcome as they enter the establishment
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in bartending, food service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with guests
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
