Inventory Clerk
Carlsbad, CA – On-site Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We pay weekly! Pay $20-23/hr depending on experience
We are currently seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for an entry to mid-level candidate with at least 2 years of experience in inventory management. To be considered, applicants must reside within 30 minutes of our Carlsbad office.
About the Role
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for performing essential inventory management tasks to ensure stock accuracy across multiple warehouse locations. This includes cycle counting, managing inbound/outbound shipments, packaging, and maintaining well-organized storage areas.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and accurate cycle counts
Replenish inventory levels by placing orders as needed
Organize and maintain storage areas in alignment with 5S principles
Identify and report inventory discrepancies
Package and prepare parts for customer delivery
Process inbound and outbound shipments via carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
Complete all receiving tasks across multiple warehouse locations
Assist with ad-hoc inventory assignments
Manage various inventory types across different locations
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or Vocational Degree required; some college preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in inventory control or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements)
Working knowledge of 5S practices
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in large-scale manufacturing or materials handling is a plus
