Job Description
Minimum 2 years experience in preparing Caribbean cuisine
Execute menu according to Company's standard
Prepare high-quality food items according to standardize recipes and instructions in order to meet production, delivery and service schedule
Ensure that food is at the correct temperate at all time
Ability to stay current with food trends and create food that excite our guests
Serve meals by using correct portioning and meeting outlined standard
Clean and sanitize work station and equipment
Ability to adapt to changes to menu
Assist in the control of inventory and menu
Willingness to learn and support the Company's brand
Flexible to work day, nights, weekends and possibly holidays
Ability to work in a team environment, great ethics and highly motivated
Responsible for compliance with NYC food safety standards is a plus
Good time management
Perform other duties as necessary especially during downtime
