We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to assist with our financial operations within this specialized laboratory environment.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
· Handle all aspects of accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, payment tracking, and managing collections.
· Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
· Accurately record and categorize all financial transactions in QuickBooks.
· Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
· Assist with the preparation for audits and tax filings.
· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
· Handle general administrative tasks related to bookkeeping functions.
· Collaborate effectively with other team members.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (5+ years preferred).
· Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with laboratory or manufacturing financial systems is a plus.
· Familiarity with payroll processing.
Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 based on experience
