Temp - Certified Sterile Processing Technician (Evenings) – Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, MA Start Date: 06/16/2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) Hours: 40 guaranteed/week Position Summary: Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSRT) for a 13-week temporary evening shift assignment.

This position plays a vital role in infection control and surgical instrument readiness, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in our busy OR setting.

Key Responsibilities: Perform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment Maintain strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection control practices Prepare instrument trays and equipment for surgical procedures Ensure accurate documentation and inventory of sterile supplies Collaborate closely with surgical staff to ensure timely and effective support Requirements: Minimum 2 years of current Sterile Processing experience ENDO experience is required and non-negotiable Previous travel experience preferred Must have reliable personal transportation Must reside more than 50 miles from Pittsfield, MA COVID-19 vaccination required (Dose date on or after 10/3/2023) or an approved exemption with continuous masking BLS certification (AHA) HSPA (IAHCSMM) certification Additional Information: 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), 40 hours per week guaranteed Weekend and holiday coverage may be required No on-call required Non-billable 8-hour orientation OT and holiday rate multiplier: 1.25x Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application (Max 5 days)
