Job Title: Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSRT) – Evening Shift (Travel Contract) Location: Berkshire Medical Center – Pittsfield, MA Job Type: 13-Week Travel Assignment with potential for multiple extensions Start Date: June 16, 2025- tentative Shift: Evenings 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 5x8s Guaranteed Hours: 40/week About the Opportunity: Berkshire Medical Center (BMC), a nationally recognized teaching hospital, is seeking an experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSRT) to join their operating room support team on a full-time 13-week travel contract . Key Responsibilities: Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to industry and hospital standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterile supply areas.

Use proper infection control procedures at all times.

Document sterilization records and maintain accurate equipment tracking.

Collaborate closely with OR staff to ensure timely availability of instruments and scopes.

Handle endoscopy equipment confidently and independently.

Schedule: Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 5x8 hour shifts per week 40-hour guarantee Weekend and holiday coverage: TBD No on-call required
