Complete knowledge of a case cart preparation system Basic computer knowledge with an Instrument Tracking system (ABACUS/MICROSYSTEMS) preferred.

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Heavy lifting and pushing (trays & sterilization carts). • Responsible for decontamination, prepping and packaging • sterilization processes of all surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language Skills: Skills: Basic Computer skills, reading and writing General Knowledge of function and maintenance of Surgical Instruments and Patient Care Equipment Competent to operates sterilizers Works well with others Works well in a fast paced environment Education: Required Certification: Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CBSPD Education: High School Diploma
