Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical Date Posted: 5/15/2025 Location: District Date Available: July 1, 2025 Closing Date: untill filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Major Responsibilities and Duties: The Registrar/Student Pupil Services Coordinator ensures that families enrolling their children into school at the Orange Township Public Schools have a seamless process of enrollment and that enrollment requirements are met based on the Orange Board of Education policy and procedures.
In addition, maintains a reliable and efficient database of student records enabling the district to more effectively achieve its goals; to provide adequate and appropriate technical support to assist district personnel in achieving their job goals.
Please see attachment for full description Required Qualifications and Skill-Set: * Possess a High School Diploma (college graduate preferred). * Have a minimum of (3) years experience in registration practices and enrollment policies.
* Have three (3) or more years managerial experience in a secretary, administrative and/or specialist role.
* Have experience with NJ Homeroom Charter School Enrollment System.
* Have experience with NJSMART data monitoring.
* Have knowledge of the NJSMART End of the Year, NJSMART Fall Submission and NJASSA.
* Proven knowledge of OPRA regulations.
* Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with parents, students, staff, administrators, NJDOE, outside agencies and the community.
* Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
* Possess excellent leadership and organization skills.
* Maintain confidentiality.
* Have knowledge and skill set to maintain district database systems.
* Hold and maintain a valid driver's license with no serious violations and have a vehicle for transportation.Must be community oriented, preferably with experience in youth programs or school activities.Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
* Provide proof of U.
S.
citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.Provide evidence that a criminal record history check has been conducted and clearance has been given by the Department of Education.
