Master Scheduler

Position Scope/Summary: The primary purpose of this job is responsibility for the planning and execution of company forecast, production schedule, materials plan and materials control activities to support operations goal of on-time shipment.

Manages demand forecasting, capacity planning, and the maintenance of the Build Kanban system.

Analyzes, identifies and corrects basic and finished cell inventory to ensure date is accurate and delivery schedule is met.

Acts as customer service liaison for Materials Organization.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities: * Develop, plan and execute the master production schedule based on actual and forecasted customer demand for all Made to order and Made to stock products considering capacity utilization and optimizing inventory levels.

* Lead multi-functional teams with personnel from different departments.

* Implement continuous improvement opportunities to planning processes and system solutions that support the supply chain stakeholders.

* Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Identify gaps and drive solutions, including metrics for production performance according to the requested production plan.

* Work closely with purchasing to analyze inventory levels and product demand to ensure product availability.

* Establish cadence to ensure accuracy on item master planning data for manufacturing items.

* Roll up financial revenue forecast based on customer demand, site capacity and material availability.

* Establish/define and monitor inventory targets for all make items.

* Lead SIOP Conversations with customers and internally for the site * Lead daily production meetings, presenting updated master production schedules and making the necessary adjustments to keep the plan accurate and updated * Develop and monitor site consensus forecast Position Requirements: * Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a business related field.

* Minimum Experience: 3-5 years experience using MRP/ERP computer systems.

3 years scheduling/forecasting experience.

Knowledge & Skills: Proven experience and understanding of Kanban Market Systems.

Good computer skills.

Strong Organizational skills.

Strong written and communication skills.

APICS certification preferred.

Environmental Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
