Behavioral Support Aide (RBTs Encouraged to )

BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT PARAPROFESSIONAL - FULL TIME

Celebrate the Children (CTC), a New Jersey State of the Art Private School for students with neurodiversity located in Denville, NJ is actively seeking full-time Behavioral Support Paraprofessionals for the 2024-2025 School Year. Ideal candidates will have safety care or crisis intervention training. Previous experience working under a BCBA is a plus. Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT) are welcome to apply! RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT PARAPROFESSIONALS INCLUDE:

Working 1:1 with students while supporting them academically, emotionally, and socially.

Supporting students in the community.

Supporting classroom teachers with daily classroom activities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT PARAPROFESSIONAL:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional/1:1 Aide providing positive behavioral supprt

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Bilingual is a plus but not required.

NJ Substitute Teacher Certification is a plus but not required.

RBT Certification preferred

Experience working under a BCBA, a huge plus

Safety Care of Crisis Intervention Training preferred
