JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing outside sales to secure, book and re-book event space at Lambeau Field and Titletown.
This position will utilize strategic selling and prospecting techniques to cultivate new relationships and drive results and ensure excellent guest experiences.
LOCATION: This position is based onsite at our offices.
This is not a remote position.
Job Responsibilities: * Energetically contributes ideas to promote event business to Lambeau Field and Titletown.
* Develops and maintains a network of client contacts along with area business contacts in order to create new and secure repeat business * Assists with the development, implementation and administration of sales and marketing plans for event sales department.
* Executes sales functions to secure event bookings and document initial details for event coordinator * Assists with the development of sales materials and the implementation of these materials for the event sales department.
* Serve as client's contact and primary touch point prior to event coordinator involvement, and as needed throughout the planning and day of the event.
* Continuously works on the development and implementation of customer service initiatives in order to enhance the total guest experience.
* Prepares cost estimates and proposals and negotiate rental agreements in order to ensure overall client satisfaction.
* Actively participates in professional organizations and tradeshows in order to develop relationships and drive bookings.
* Assists in cooperative sales campaigns in association with community partners such as Discover Green Bay and Green Bay Lodging Association to enhance usage of Lambeau Field and Titletown event space.
* Works closely with Lambeau Field's catering partner on positive communication interdepartmentally and collaborative sales campaigns.
* Prepares metrics to evaluate the achievement of marketing and facility usage goals.
* Actively participates in promotion of all atrium businesses and premium seating/group game day opportunities.
* Perform related work as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred * Three years of professional experience in sales and/or marketing in hospitality or related industry.
* Knowledge of event logistics and food and beverage operations.
* Ability to prepare meaningful and concise reports.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including speaking before groups.
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with internal departments and with current and potential clients.
* Ability to develop and present convincing and persuasive sales presentations and close sales.
* Develop data base utilization skill as well as a proposal file for efficiency.
* Ability to listen and to negotiate cooperative agreements, vendor and facility rental recommendations and contracts.
* Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, within a team environment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: * Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time throughout the day.
* Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time.
* Ability to reach, stoop, and lift when needed.
* Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
* Operates in a professional office environment.
* Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
* Travel is required for this position.
