Store Manager Responsibilities Include
Maintain all operational staffing
Maintaining the highest level of customer expectations in the industry
Order entry
Obtain stock orders from customers, unit down and special orders, online ordering, follow up on back orders and stock transfers.
Determine customer needs for merchandise and inform of any current special sales
Promote all product lines and solicit sales
Operational requirements:
Scheduling and assigning employees
Effectively manage a team of warehouse associates and customer service representatives .
Recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training warehouse and customer service employees
Job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Assist in inventory control activities, including annual, cycle counts and maintaining bin location accuracy.
Problem resolution that arises with customers or associates
Monitoring expenses
Responsible for the efficiency and accuracy of the distribution team in areas such as receiving, picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
Responsible for the physical handling of parts returning from customers, parts to the manufacturer including special returns, annual returns, cores and warranties.
Promote safety standards to comply with company policy
Promotes a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment, trucks, and inventory
Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities as needed
Successful Store Manager candidates Will Have:
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of related experience is required
Excellent communication (oral & written)
Customer service oriented
Ability to operate power industrial equipment (e.g. fork lifts,)

The role is a physically active role
Will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist device.
Will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift
Will frequently be required to: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and climbing
Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities
