**Cable Assembler**
**Seeking entry level candidates to work in manufacturing environment and learn new skills and on the job training.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform all required duties, including the location and shrinking of marker bands on cable assemblies.
+ Detect and report defective material, faulty instructions, or unusual conditions to the supervisor.
+ Gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner.
+ Handle small hand crimping tools, cutters, and heat guns with manual dexterity.
+ Work effectively as a team member.
+ Communicate verbally with co-workers to maintain a safe working environment.
+ Perform numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions.
+ Assemble multi-cable harnesses.
+ Produce cable assemblies compliant with specifications from manufacturing instructions, using schedules and oral or written guidance.
+ Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ years of general assembly experience.
+ 6+ months experience working with hand tools, cables, electrical, mechanical, general labor, assembly line, work instruction.
+ Experience in assembling, hand tool usage, cable crimping, soldering, electronics, harness assembly, blueprint reading, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, production, and SMT.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent education.
+ Good math skills with the ability to count and measure.
+ Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
+ Effective experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Capability to perform repetitive piece work and meet production quotas.
+ Good attention to detail.
+ Ability to stand for long periods of time.
+ Experience following work instructions.
+ Hand and power tool experience.
+ Ability to work with small wires and complete crimping.

**Shift**
Training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 8 am to 5 pm, and then transition to the 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
The first day starts at 8:30 am. The 1st shift runs from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with eligibility for overtime.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
