The Production worker ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements. Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment, monitoring and operating production machines, weighing material, and following specific instructions. **Job Description**
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment that blends, mixes, extrudes, packages, and transports liquid or dry chemicals used to create customer products. Your goal is to ensure the production of high-quality products at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements according to company policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and start all machines, ensuring all controls adhere to procedures.
+ Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and insert them into machinery.
+ Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations, troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
+ Operate machinery to mix, discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
+ Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
+ Take samples of materials to the lab for evaluation and instructions.
+ Refer issues or problems to lead or supervisor for disposition.
+ Perform all required machine cleaning.
+ Complete and maintain all required computer inputs, ensuring data integrity.
+ Document completed work as required, including logs, data reports, and procedures.
+ Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.55 - $21.55/hr.
