The Cycle Counter is responsible for counting the inventory in the warehouse to ensure and maintain inventory accuracy, control, and integrity. As well as compile discrepancy reports that highlight errors, the causes for any inaccuracies that are encountered, and also rectifying the issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct cycle counts completely and accurately per schedules provided. Straightening merchandise so that it can be easily picked.
Updating and printing the initial cycle count report to verify accuracy.
Audit and correct bin discrepancies resulting from picking orders, putaway errors, lost merchandise, and/or pilferage.
Investigate missing items and report losses and trends to management
Fill out discrepancy sheets for issues found that can be fully traced
Turning in both the Cycle Count Report and Discrepancy Sheets to the Cycle Count Lead

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
Years of experience: Minimum of two years of inventory control and/or cycle counting experience or equivalent combination of education and warehouse operations experience, preferred.
Valid Driver’s license preferred
Knowledge of Inventory Management preferred
Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and RF Scanning.
Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures.
Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department
Essential Functions of the Position:
Performing tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time.
Repetitive movements.
Able to stand, reach, bend, push and pull bulky material for the entire shift and capable of lifting 50-70 lbs. frequently
Comfortable with heights- the potential height of 27.5 ft on equipment
Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
