Overview:

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to contribute to the design and execution of automated testing strategies for a suite of in-development applications. The role involves close collaboration with developers and QA professionals to ensure functional integrity and performance across business-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

Conduct SQL-based data validation and backend testing

Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test plans

Document test coverage, track defects, and report on test execution

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Provide regular updates on testing status, issues, and metricsQ

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of hands-on experience in software QA with a focus on test automation

Proficiency in tools such as Playwright, Selenium, ReadyAPI, or TestComplete

Solid understanding of SQL and experience validating data at the database level

Background in financial services, particularly with trading platforms or portfolio management systems

Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities

Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to Have:

Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner

Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
