Job Title: Human Resources Intern

Department: Human Resources

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department by assisting in the implementation of policies and procedures relating to all phases of human resources activities including but not limited to recruiting, payroll and benefits, personnel issues, training and development, and discipline.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the onboarding of new employees, including documentation and orientation.

Help with data entry and management of employee records in HR systems.

Support the integration of company policies, benefits, and compensation structures post-merger.

Assist in the coordination of training and communication efforts related to PMI.

Help with employee engagement and culture integration activities.

Provide general HR support in areas such as performance management, compliance, and reporting.

Education and/or Experience:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Background Prerequisites:

Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
