Davis Tool has an immediate opening for a manager of the purchasing supply chain organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage a team of purchasing employees

Meet regularly with employees to communicate company priorities and address concerns

Set goals and expectations, assign work, develop employees, and enable the work to be performed as needed

Formally evaluate employee performance

Communicate department status to other shifts and other departments

Job Requirements:

3 years of direct people management experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or equivalent education and 5 years of manufacturing experience

Experienced with direct purchasing, MRP systems, spread sheets and office software

High attention to detail and problem solving; well organized with leadership skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

This is an exempt eligible position.
