Body Donation Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications * Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

* Ability to communicate effectively with others.

* Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with a wide variety of individuals, including but not limited to physicians and faculty, students.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills.

* Excellent attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications * Experience in a medical school environment.

All Qualifications Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.

Position Details Position Purpose The Body Donation Coordinator of the OUWB Body Donor Program is charged with the overall management of the Body Donation Program.

The Body Donation Coordinator will report directly to the Body Donation Program Director and will coordinate, track and manage the use of donors for: OUWB Coursework, non-OUWB courses, Beaumont Health (and other affiliates), and outside interests.

A large part of this role will be working with various stake-holders to facilitate, increase and enhance the use of the donors, both in and outside of OUWB, the BDP coordinator will be responsible for ensuring appropriate tracking/tagging, transportation, storage, maintenance and the return of all loaned donors and parts thereof - with the overall goal always being to honor the donor's wishes, that their donation is being utilized to the fullest.
