The teacher of the Four Cities Compact's Media Communications Program at Wadsworth High School will work with students from four different school districts (Barberton, Copley-Fairlawn, Norton, and Wadsworth), introducing them and developing skills which apply to a variety of jobs in multiple career fields. The teacher should be very familiar and comfortable using equipment, computer programs, video/sound production procedures, social media outlets, and graphic design techniques. Along with extensive expertise from the field, the teacher should possess the ability to work with and establish a positive and professional rapport with students with a variety of interests within the Media field. The teacher must also be comfortable and willing to reach out to local businesses to establish and maintain working partnerships which provide student's opportunities to gain experience in the field.
