We are hiring a Senior Solution Consultant (AKA Pre-sales) with experience in SaaS-based, managed service software models.
Job Purpose: The Solution Consultant drives sales by understanding customer challenges and defining suitable ACI Solutions.
This role ensures customers maximize long-term value from ACI's Solutions.
It involves qualifying prospects, leading solution selling, and collaborating with sales teams and internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Sales & Implementation * Develops go-to-market strategies and executes pipeline building.
* Leads solution selling and advises on sales strategies.
* Gathers and analyzes business requirements to minimize Customer Specific Modifications (CSMs). * Presents solutions to achieve sales targets.
* Defines solution demonstration needs and collaborates cross-functionally for delivery.
* Builds strong customer relationships, becoming a Trusted Advisor.
Internal Coordination * Influences ACI's solution strategy and roadmap.
* Collaborates on marketing initiatives and provides industry intelligence.
* Works on complex and Tier 1 accounts.
* Leads or has led global or regional sales initiatives.
Learning and Development * Creates and follows an individual development plan.
* Mentors less senior Solution Consultants.
* Takes a leadership role in the Solution Consulting team.
Communication and Executive Presence * Demonstrates strong communication and business acumen.
* Articulates value and leads conversations with C-Level executives.
* Proposes new ideas to senior leadership.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Education / Certifications * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * MS Azure Fundamentals Certification is a plus Experience * 5 years as a Subject Matter Expert * 10-15 years in a relevant industry sector * 5-10 years of consultative sales/pre-sales experience Knowledge * Specific experience related to selling SaaS-based/managed services solutions to enterprise customers.
* The ability to explain these solutions convincingly effectively, with little preparation * Able to demonstrate to customers the value the solution provides in generating potential revenue streams, increase in market share, and cost savings.
* Present and explain competitive differentiators for these solutions effectively, with some preparation.
Able to demonstrate these solutions in a convincing manner * Strong to excellent knowledge of the banking, financial services, and/or payments industry is a plus * Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, including those providing operational cost savings and efficiency when software is deployed in Private or Public Cloud, or offered as a Managed Service * Strong to excellent understanding of the sales cycle and customer buying motives and criteria.
Skills and Other Abilities * Very Strong professional written/verbal in English and other languages as applicable * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Excellent persuasive presentation skills.
The solution consultant must be able to speak with authority.
