Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aviation Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for a variety of aviation-related projects, including airport design, construction, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for project planning and design

Maintain current department organizational and quality control standards and update as and where necessary.

Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for airport construction and improvement projects

Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects

Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules

Review and approve construction plans and documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications

Monitor project progress and provide technical support to construction teams

Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in aviation engineering to provide innovative solutions to clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
